Dear Mr. Venuto,
I am going to begin this letter with a cliche..."I have never written a letter like this before..." But I had to write you. When someone has given a life-changing gift such as you have given me, I could not in good conscience not write to tell you what it has meant to me.
Yesterday was my six-month anniversary on your program. I met my goal, silly as it was...I can wear a size 7 pants from Abercrombie. I began in January nearly popping out of my size 14 pants. And I have no doubts I will meet my year goal of 17% body fat. I have lost 13% body fat representing 24 pounds of disgusting fat. I've done it all in my barn -- on an old treadmill, a wrestling mat, and on a Weider 8510 weight machine and my son's free weights. And of course in the kitchen and in quiet time, where I prepare good, healthy foods that I eat every three hours, and where I contemplate and internalize my written goals.
My progress has been slow, but I like it that way. Your program is now an integral part of my life, and while I don't always push as hard as I might, I do lift 2-3 times every week and I do cardio normally 6 days a week. I don't have many cheat meals, mainly because I eat such good food every day that I don't crave anything else.
The health benefits of your program have been amazing to me. I have not used an inhaler for my asthma in many months. I have no more problems staying "regular" in the bowel department, and my frequent heartburn attacks have completely disappeared.
My son is a junior in high school and has been a wrestler since he was five. While he doesn't follow the program exactly, we often eat the same meals in the evening and he has helped me learn proper technique in weight lifting. He often "counsels" other wrestlers on their diet and workouts, and he uses the principles I have taught him from your program.
I have directed so many people to your web site, and I sincerely hope they have bought your book as I did. Even my doctor wrote down the web site URL and is amazed at the changes in me. I recently ran into an aunt of mine I hadn't seen in months and she didn't even recognize me!! I just turned 39 and I am so proud that I am now in the best shape of my life, and I only get better with every meal, cardio session and weight training day.
So, Mr. Venuto, for all these things I thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I will continue to spread your gospel to all I meet. I wish you nothing but the greatest success and most fulfilling happiness life could offer.

I would like to thank you for writing such an amazing and comprehensive book. I was cautiously optimistic when I read your book. Everything made sense, but it sounded too good to be true. I could eat more, not be hungry and lose weight?
I have tried every diet and lost and gained weight multiple times over the last 20 years. I followed all the guidelines in your book from goal setting to nutrition to excercise. Planning and cooking the meals was time consuming at first and I wasn't sure I could keep it up for long. But, I was able to work out short cuts and it is now a way of life.
I met my three month goal by going from 26% to 21% body fat (15 pounds lost). I also have more energy, require less sleep and have nearly eliminated headaches that plagued me almost daily. I also look much more toned and healthy than the previous times that I lost weight!
I have been told by several people that I look years younger!
I did "fall off the wagon" once, but the best part was that I was able to get back on and keep going. I also went on a cruise and did not eat clean at all. But, it seems that it helped to get me off a plateau and I was glad to go back to eating clean when I returned from vacation. I truly believe that I can maintain this nutrition and excercise plan for life.
I can't even imagine eating the foods that I used to believe were healthy such as the low calorie microwave dinners. Yuck!
One of the most important things I learned is not to compare myself to others, but to simply become the best that I can be! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am now on my way to my ultimate goal of 16% body fat and I know I will get there!

Tom, what can I say - you're absolutely inspiring; your words of enthusiasm and straight to the point facts have made "Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle" the best book I have EVER read! I have learned more in your book in the last month then I have learned in 30 years in the Health and Wellness industry.
It is not everyday that one gains such in-depth knowledge AND stays captivated by the writer! I would recommend this book to anyone, and have! I think everyone willing to work your Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Program who is willing to finally give 100% to themselves, will see nothing but outstanding results!
I think it is of the utmost importance for anyone that is wishing to change anything in their life's, read "Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle" first. It is a well thought out guide, with tons of scientific data, and massive inserts of motivational tools. This book is definitely not for the couch potato, nor is it designed for thse grasping on to a quick fix.
I want to especially commend you Tom, on an outstanding approach to the Mental Challenges of weight loss. It's HUGE, that one reads the first chapter in "Burn The Fast Feed The Muscle" on Goal Setting as well as The bonus reports Science of Goal Achievement and Self Image Secrets. After reading it, APPLY, APPLY and APPLY THAT KNOWLEDGE you have learned. Repetition is not only applied in the gym, it starts in the mental conditioning of your NEW mind set!
If you want to get lean and mentally strong why would you follow anyone's advice that has never even been in a gym, much less lived a balanced life style? Learn from the ones that walk the walk (Tom Venuto) and talk the talk (TRUTH). Be part of the 5% out there who stands apart from all the rest.

Your BFFM program has helped me make tremendous strides toward my fitness goals. In January when I really got started I was 212 pounds and 31% body fat, with a resting heart rate of 80, and BP of 130/80. I am passing through 15% body fat. My goal is 220 pounds at 9% body fat, I guess you could say I am well on the way.
My BP is now 111/67 with a resting heart rate of 65. Did I mention that I am 54 years of age and really didn't think at the start that I could make such amazing changes in such a short time. You have enabled me to make real progress on my fitness and health goals and your emphasis on goals, and maintaining a positive image has helped me so much. Thank You!

I've been following the BFFM program in earnest and have lost 22 pounds of fat and gained about 8 pounds of muscle. Still have about 15 pounds of fat to go. I have read nearly everything that's available on nutrition, diet programs, and weight training, and I've found some good resources. But your book is the one I keep going back to and re-reading, and I really appreciate your commonsense, research-based approach. By now my, training partner is probably sick of me saying, "Tom says..."
